What will be there?
We have ladies, mens and children's clothing, as well as shoes and accessories. Unfortunately, for hygiene reasons we can't put out underwear, socks or swimming costumes.
What if I don't find something I like?
We have sizes 8-38 attend, we have about 200 items donated from friends/swappers who can't make it on the day before anybody arrives, and end up with 3,000+ items each time. There will always be something for you.
Why isn't it swap-for-swap/item for item?
We have so many items come through the doors, if we did swap for swap, we'd have far too many items left over at the end. Take what you like, for yourself only, and It'll continue to work beautifully.
What are the people like?
Don't people take loads of stuff? Are people grabby? Doesn't it get brutal with all those women?
NEVER. People lead by example. Our seasoned swapper are kind, friendly and polite. As long as you come with a fair mindset, you'll go home with armfuls of items, and a smile on your face.
Can I bring children?
We ask that you don't bring children under 14 as it can get extremely busy
Where do the leftover items go?
We take all leftover donations to local charities such as Mind and Prospect House.
We are registered as Gift Aid donators so the charities get the most they can from donations, and we can let you all know how much money you helped raise with your donations
